What can we do as peers, friends, family members, acquaintances and members of society to change somebody's day for the better? It does not have to be something big, expensive and elaborate, but if you would like, go for it! Share those ideas. I was thinking more on the lines of something small, something simple, but yet could and does have a big impact on somebody's day or week. What is it we can do to be?
I think that just giving someone a nice compliment is enough to make someones day. Some people can be so down on themselves that just saying something polite like "I like your..." can really make their day.
ReplyDeleteI agree!!!!
Delete(So I just realized this had to be five sentances.. so here is the rest of my responce) Some people have home lives that don't support them the way they should and could be looking forward to that support elsewhere, perhaps from you. Giving someone some nice compliments can make yourself feel better as a person justifying your kindness and care towards someone. I think that everyone should be just be nice towards everyone and maybe the world could be a better place.
DeleteNicely said and great update after reading it once again. That's we we need more of! That shows great character. Thanks for pointing out some optimistic stuff.
DeleteI agree with Braden, that when giving someone a nice complement it makes other people feel better and should make yourself feel better because you just made someone elses day. I also agree that everyone should be nice towards someone because like Brayden said the would could eventually be a better place.
DeleteYou could do numerous things to better ones day. One of those things could be something as simple as taking time out of your day to help someone out. For example, once I was at the Walmart in Lock Haven and I noticed an older man on a scooter and instead of watching him struggle to get up and put his items from the cart to on the counter, I did it for him. I instantly noticed the look on his face and the cashiers face as well. He thanked me repetitively and was so grateful. Something so small can mean so much to someone else.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks for being a great citizen and student of BAHS! Keep that attitude and behavior up.
