School, Students, Motivation, Education...
FYI:
- I encourage every student in all of my classes to post at least once per week.
- Posts must be professionally appropriate, no slander, or inappropriate talk or gestures.
- Constructive criticism is okay, but carefully think about your words.
- Encouragement, collaboration of ideas and cross-curricular blogging is encouraged.
- I highly recommend you to involve yourself in other students posts even if they are not in your class. Think of what could be brought to light for you!
- In addition, each student must give at least two comprehensive reflective, thoughtful, opinionated, enlightening responses that are at least 5 sentences long to other students post in the forum.
- You may start your own topic.
- Back up your conversation with resources.
- Any questions, please ask.
- A Google account is recommended.
How can teachers in today's society create a classroom that is educational, but enjoyable for students where children are motivated to learn and seek to earn good grades no matter what the topic? Please take some time to think about a thoughtful response. Write something of value, something that is meaningful, powerful, intellectual, etc...
in my opinion i think teachers should be educational but yet fun. I think being in the classroom should not consist of just lecturing all the time i think some students learn better by doing hands on projects. Being in a classroom different students have different learning capabilities and have different perspectives, for examples doing projects and labs.
ReplyDeleteI agree with brook I dont think that we should just sit there and be lectured and fall asleep listening to them talk all day everday, i think we should do projects and expirements and try to do more hands on projects. It would help the students learn and be more focused
