High School Students
FYI:- Every student in the class must post.

YouTube is one of the largest if not the largest website in the world. It offers so much to its users. What are your thoughts on using it in the classroom? Do you like my short clips related to the class material? Do these short educational clips make good bellringers? Please respond with your thoughts, opinions and recommendations.
YouTube is a great website to use in the classroom. You can look up tutorials on what to do on a project. If your teacher doesn't explain something, you can look up a video of somebody who will explain it better. Short educational clips are great bellringers because they teach us something & they get our minds working. I think YouTube is just a great website with so many educational videos.

DeleteI agree with Aalyiah and Sylvia, I think youtube is a good website to use because it can show us basically anything we need to know. Also I think youtube is good for showing us step by step if we are having problems figuring it out, so it helps us learn in a better easier way.. The ASAPscience has taught me alot about just things in general.

DeleteI agree 100% with everyone else. sometimes, in class, it can really help to explain some things more in depth to others who do not holy understand the topic! When we even watch ASAPScience, it can help others to understand some of the topics more by the little facts they give in the videos! But, sometimes, you would have to watch getting carried away with the videos. Some teachers can greatly get "Off track" if they are on youtube. But, I really do think that it helps a lot in class!

ReplyDeletei disagree because you could d very inaporopriate things that could get you distracted, also with ads. Unless its supported by your teacher like bill Nye the science guy, or many others as AsaP Science, Vsause, and MinutPhysics whch are very supportive for edcational science. But there are still many more, so this would be something to look into next class time or just instead of Asap Science all the time try something new. Its always great to try new things.

I think Youtube can sometimes be very educational. There are some videos that teach you important things.Some clips are fun and very educational. Youtube is a very nice website to use.

DeleteI agree, i think that youtube is great for educational purposes.Youtube may be Very educational at times showing you how to do new things for example makeup tutorials. Also, say you can't understand the teacher by them lecturing, watching short video clips can also help you learn new things.

DeleteI think that youtube is one of the best and most educational websites. It can help you find any information you need in a slideshow. Or you can find a how-to for almost anything you buy! Another great way to use youtube is to express your hobbies. I post videos on my account often, and I really love getting to put my singing videos online. I meet such nice people and discover other people with passions like my own. I think that as long as it isn't overused- like anything- it can be very beneficial to your mental and social health because you're able to learn, share, and meet people like you. <3

DeleteI think youtube is very useful in school. You can find new ways to do stuff. You can also learn about anything. In my Health class we watch ASAP Science videos and it get very interesting. I think it is interesting to watch different things. On Youtube you can also learn how to do different things. I think Youtube is very useful in and out of school.

There are a lot of educational videos or tutorials on things. you can learn new things from different sources and new people. we use it for educational purposes in health class with the asap science videos. they give very good reviews on new things and show you how to work something or tell you if a product is good or bad. that is why i think youtube is a very good website.

DeletePersonally, I would say YouTube is a very useful site to be using in class. ASAP Science has helped me drastically and has taught me many things. I now look and think differently about things because of all I have learned watching those short clips. YouTube would be perfect for bellringers. For instant we could watch an ASAP Science video about what we may be talking about it class that day and that can be like our warm up to start into our topic. In my opinion I think we should be using this site more in class. Almost everyone knows how to use it and is familiar with it so it would be easy to work with. Once again, it's also useful when it comes to learning and even enhancing our knowledge on the internet.

DeleteYoutube is very useful in general. From tutorials to educational videos its go it all! Its a great learning tool for the classroom and makes learning... almost fun. I do enjoy the short clips in class as sort of a bellringer/fun-fact to get you ready for class. All in all youtube is just a good educational/entertainment site for all!

As an example ASAP science and also videos as in look up that show you that you need to stay off of your devises all of the time. ASAP science videos can teach you a lot of things such as study tips and also videos like how sleep is very important. That is why youtube can be very important in a school day.

It is a daily application on phone, macs, and etc. It gives you a subscription box if you want new every time a video is published you can watch. There are also very entertainment and DIY videos that may teach you a thing or two.

DeleteI believe that Youtube can be a very good tool in a classroom or even at home. It is a great source of information for the most, but it's sometimes difficult for people who can get lost easily on the internet. Like everything, if it is not over-used in the class room or at home, it can be a great resource of any type of information. This does not have to be a mandatory thing in the classroom though. We should not have to rely on the internet just to get our day started but it does help much.

DeleteI think YouTube can be excellent at helping students learning things they might not understand in class. It can show step by step ways to do things which can be the best method of learning for some students. YouTube can be very educational if you use it appropriately in school. Also YouTube can be used for music which can also help you if you have a paper to get done and music helps you get through it. I am a firm supporter of the website.

DeleteI think youtube is very useful not only for entertainment, but also education. Over the years i've learned alot from youtube and it can also teach you virtually anything. And i think it should be used in classes as well. Having so many people watch certain videos creates sort of a community of sorts online. This allows the good videos to be selected over the bad ones so you know what to watch. Last is that the comments also corrects any mistakes that one video may or may not have.
