Computer Technology... Its quite amazing isn't it? Look at the advancements in computers, laptops, tablets, phones and other mobile devices. Look at what some of our electronics are capable of live-monitoring, recording, interacting, etc... Its amazingly awesome or scary depending on your point of view or past experiences?! What are your thoughts on all of this? Think of the conveniences or hassles, complexity of the devices or ease, personal security or privacy issues or thoughts, the information available to you, the direct and immediate interaction with information and others. Don't limit yourself to some of the examples I've listed. If there is more on your mind share it! Please seriously consider this one and think about it. Computer technology is everywhere! Its being integrated into your live more and more whether you want it to or not!
I think that technology has really came a long way since the first computer. Now in 2016 we have virtual reality, smart glass, and even 4k televisions. Our technology is so convenient, mostly ever person in the U.S has a smartphone or a computer.

I think it's amazing how much technology has improved within the past decade. From personal experience it is both a positive and negative thing to be so dependent on technology. Technology can bring easier communication with friends and family and a source of entertainment. But at the same time I feel like its the cause of distraction from real life interaction and work.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lauren, everyone knows that technology has gradually improved in these past couple years that all people (including me) are more distracted by our phones and stuff that we dont really interact with the real world
DeleteI too agree! We need to respect our technology and stay focused on what really matters and makes a true difference in our lives, not just for us, but for family, friends and those around us.
DeleteThe way technology has progressed is awesome. New inventions are coming out that are assisting us in our everyday lives. Now they are coming out with a lot of things to aid soldiers. In my Army unit we work a lot with technology from powerpoint briefings about Army Culture and Values, to using YouTube for sound effects on our guns when we are battling in the cage.

DeleteIn my opinion, I don't like technology as much as the next guy. To me it's ruining most peoples lives and they don't realize it, people are being bullied over the internet by someone hundreds of miles away, people are meeting strangers through dating sites or Craig's list and those people end up being murderers, thieves or rapist. I only use my phone, laptop and Xbox to talk to close friends and play games. there's people I know that don't go outside, and the ones that do, are walking and texting and are always distracted and in danger of not checking their surroundings. I try to go outside (without my phone) as often as I can
ReplyDeleteYou are most certainly implied to give your opinions and thoughts. Good Points too! There is nothing wrong with be cautious about technology. It is scary and its crazy what we can do with it, but its okay to embrace it too. You could use computer technology for the outdoors in a great way too.
DeleteI agree with some of the things you said about people being bullied and and dating strangers because those things aren't good and can lead to bad things. Those are just some of the bad things that can happen but no one really pays attention to all the good things that can go on like, learning creative things on Pinterest, or making a new useful websites for people to use.
